Quite rightly, there has been a huge focus on attracting more women into the cybersecurity industry. We often grapple with why the gender balance is so uneven and how we can market the industry to attract more diverse candidates. A lesser discussed topic, however, is how we protect and keep hold of the diverse talent that we do have. Given that the percentage of women in cybersecurity is consistently weighted at far less than 25%, losing female talent due to complacency or worse, mistreatment, is unforgivable.
‘Grab the Mic’ panellists will candidly discuss the reasons why women are leaving roles in the cybersecurity industry and what employers can do to retain female talent.
Wednesday 02 October, 16:00 – 17:30. ExCeL London.
