What does the day-to-day look like?

Our portfolio managers are essentially 360 sales consultants. You’ll be tasked with managing the entire sales process from conception to renewal. This includes:

  • New business generation: The most direct way of bringing well-qualified senior decision-makers to the table, at scale, is via the phone. It’s also the most difficult. To create a high-performance outbound team, new business generation needs to forever remain the primary focus.
  • Deal development: This is the trickiest stage of the process. The time between first call and deal can often be several months and we must be front of the queue when the time comes to pull the trigger. Managing this process well makes all the difference in the role.
  • Account management: Our remuneration structures ensure you are motivated to retain clients. Utilising specific cyber-led market updates, events, and a scheduled meeting programme, there should be no reason for a client to leave Assured.

What are we looking for?

  • Some prior sales experience is great, but not a necessity.
  • The first two weeks will be a crash course in ‘unlearning’, regardless of your background.
  • You pride yourself on your work ethic.
  • You have an innate desire to continuously improve and evolve.
  • You hate losing, but are never a sore loser.
  • You’ve got an inquisitive mind; you’re always asking questions and want to learn.
